Raspberry and Ginger Ice Cream Float
The Perfect Summertime Drink!
- 2 1/2 cups of raspberries (Fresh or Frozen)
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 2 tsp vanilla bean extract
- 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 4 scoops chocolate ice cream
- 2 375ml bottles of spicy ginger beer
Start with making the raspberry sauce. Place the raspberries, honey and vanilla in a small saucepan, and bring to boil. As quickly as the pan boils, turn off the heat and place to the side to cool. This mixture can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. It also freezes completely.
Create your own delicious Raspberries Ginger floats. First divide the raspberry sauce evenly between 4 tall glasses. Second, place a single scoop of both the vanilla and chocolate ice cream into each glass, and bring them to the table, and get everyone ready to dive in.
Third, pour on top of each glass with half a bottle of ginger beer watch the glasses begin to fizz over and drink up! This is the perfect cool and refreshing summertime drink for the whole family.
