Mexican Food Worldwide Cuisine
The Eduardo de San Angel Restaurant located in Fort Lauderdale Florida goes without saying that no other Mexican restaurant in South Florida compares to the exquisite foods and presentation of this unique restaurant; it could also hold true that very few in Mexico do either. The cuisine is called gourmet Mexicano, a marriage of European technical flair with the intricacy of tastes from owner Eduardo Pria’s native Mexico.
Think about the top-to-bottom quality of ingredients that go into these dishes, and the rates, a bit higher than typical Mexican dining establishments, will certainly seem like a bargain.
Some of the outlandishly scrumptious dishes: sautéed Florida blue crab and yellow corn cakes with smoked chipotle chile sauce and Puebla-style mole; achiote-rubbed pork loin with honey and pasilla chile glaze with roasted yellow corn; and how about a trio of Colorado lamb chops brushed with cilantro-garlic oil and grilled, served with a mushroom tamale and duo of smoked chipotle and green tomatillo sauces? A modest, budget-friendly wine option pairs well with this masterful Mexican cuisine. Our favorite item on the menu was the cilantro soup, a combination of cilantro and jalapenos which was absolutely the very best soup we have ever had. Mucho delicious!
